Product Description
Mikrons® designs, engineers and manufactures batch & continuous type ball mills mainly for the coatings, minerals , metal powder industries and chemical processing applications. Mikrons® Ball Mills are custom designed systems that meets the requirement for maximum grinding efficiency at a cost-effective price.
Mikrons® Ball Mills are ideally suited for wet or dry grinding processes, size reduction and dispersion, and de-flocculation in solid-liquid systems. Mill sizes range from 15 litres to 5 ton capacities.
The two mixing blades rotate towards each other at differential speeds inside a U-shaped vessel. Each blade moves the material in opposite direction thereby providing excellent cross mixing of all raw materials. The close clearance produces a shearing and tearing action that is beneficial to the size reduction of solids. This mixer is most suitable for highly viscous material and dough like masses.

Available in all grades of Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.
Optional Teflon Coated Internals for Food and Sticky material applications.
Optional wear resistant liner plates provided for abrasive products.
Jacketed construction available for heating and cooling applications.
Different shape blades available to suit specific applications
Can be offered for vacuum application.
Working capacities of 5 Liters to 2500 Liters.
