Kiran Electronics manufactures Table Top Conductivity Meter. Kiran Electronics is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. The Table Top Conductivity Meter is a precise and ragged instrument designed for most accurate measurement of conductance. Generally, the measurement of conductance is not harder than measuring resistance. However, most ohmmeters operate from direct voltage and current if were used in a liquid. It would give rise to some sort of electrolysis that would distort the measurement. To counter the electrolysis, the Table Top Conductivity Meter must operate with one AC voltage or current of sufficient high frequency.
A probe for measuring in liquid is made readily from a print header. Two header [preferably gold plated] for an excellent probe with fixed distance between the electrodes is also done. The link between the electrodes and connecting wires should be made waterproof. This probe is called cell and this instrument is calibrated for cell constant one. The applications of Table Top Conductivity Meter includes in textile manufacturing water works department, laboratories and educational institutions.
