Product Description
Ashida Electronics Pvt. Ltd. one of the leading Designers, developer & manufacturers of electrical power Protection Relays, SCADA systems offers Soil Resistivity Meter.The electrical current is introduced by ASRM in the Earth-Mass through Electrodes. This current produces a potential drop in the earth-mass, which is proportional to the resistivity of the volume up to which the current is penetrated. Horizontal distances of these electrodes spacings on the soil surface has relationship with the depth of earth-mass, which is effective in determining `Apparent Resistivity` If series of such readings are taken, then the changes in apparent resistivity readings [instrument reading] will be indirect indication of type of underground strata changes involved to that depth. This instrument is used to find out the depth of the foundation of rock structure and other structural details. This instrument is well- equipped with 6 volt D. C. battery voltage indicator as well as current indicator and wrong polarity arrestor. The range of this instrument is
main dial of 0 to 1,000 ohm [with vernier dial for 1,000 divisions] with multiplier x 1, x 10, x 102, x 103, x 104 covering 0 to 10,000 ohms in five Ranges.
Soil Resistivity Meter has been tested at following centres at certified for its efficiency.
